{"id":2492,"date":"2022-08-29T12:54:02","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T12:54:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/?p=2492"},"modified":"2022-08-29T12:54:02","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T12:54:02","slug":"a-mannequin-from-manchester-shows-the-amazing-results-of-a-hair-transplant-that-changed-his-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/en\/2022\/08\/29\/a-mannequin-from-manchester-shows-the-amazing-results-of-a-hair-transplant-that-changed-his-life\/","title":{"rendered":"A mannequin from Manchester shows the amazing results of a hair transplant that \u201cchanged his life\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/0_Male-model-Matt-Peacock-from-Manchester-shows-off-results-of-life-changing-hair-transplant.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Manchester model Matt Peacock has spoken about losing his hair that made him think he would also lose his career, and about putting pressure on people in the spotlight to maintain their looks. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Matt (father of one child), who has been the face and body of many of the world&#8217;s leading brands, fears that the decline of his hairline will be the end of his livelihood and career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The 37-year-old has spent two decades as the iconic face of leading brands including Land Rover and Gigs eWear as well as a string of TV shows. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">But the loss of his appearance made him suspicious that when filming, some wind would reveal his secret and lead to the end of his career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/0_Male-model-Matt-Peacock-from-Manchester-shows-off-results-of-life-changing-hair-transplant-1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The father chose to have a hair transplant and is now talking about why he had the surgery. He said, \u201cLoss of my hair has been losing my self-confidence for a few years and it has been really affecting my daily life. \u201cI felt so pressured to look good and keep my modeling job to pay my bills and keep a roof over my family&#8217;s head. Social media can be a huge problem too, with such an expectation of perfection. We live in a world obsessed with pictures.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/0_Male-model-Matt-Peacock-from-Manchester-shows-off-results-of-life-changing-hair-transplant-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">He added, &#8220;You wouldn&#8217;t be able to tell from my social media photos that I was so worried about my hair falling out because you only saw the good side. &#8220;I would watch TV and see a guy with great hair and get jealous, thinking &#8216;Why doesn&#8217;t my hair look like this?&#8217; \u201c \u201cThe last straw for me was a photo shoot for a tuxedo brand where I was asked to put my hair in a side parting and I couldn&#8217;t because it was too light.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"tw-ta-container F0azHf tw-nfl\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<h1><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">I went for a hair transplant and it really changed my life<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"tw-target-rmn-container\" class=\"tw-target-rmn tw-ta-container F0azHf tw-nfl\">\n<pre class=\"tw-data-placeholder tw-text-small tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"\"><img src=\"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/0_Male-model-Matt-Peacock-from-Manchester-shows-off-results-of-life-changing-hair-transplant-3.jpg\" \/><\/pre>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t have to worry about winds or my hair getting wet anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">&#8221; Matt, who works with the Boss group, found love with his model wife Rachel, whom he married in 2016, and the husband welcomed daughter Lily in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Matt has spent years covering corners on social media photos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">He was afraid that the phone would stop ringing and the fashion houses would not call him back until he underwent a hair transplant with FUE technique late last year, and about 3,500 follicles were transplanted. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Matt added, &#8220;In the modeling world, if you can reach my age with a head of hair, you&#8217;re probably on the safe side and you can expect to keep working.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u201cBut many guys who have lost their hair either give up their careers in front of the camera or find there isn&#8217;t enough work to support them full time. \u201cI&#8217;ve worked so hard to build my life and reputation that I won&#8217;t let thinning hair decide the end of my career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/bmsclinics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/0_Male-model-Matt-Peacock-from-Manchester-shows-off-results-of-life-changing-hair-transplant-4.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u201cI feel sorry for guys in their twenties who have lost their hair and all they see is perfection on social media, but that&#8217;s not really the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u201cMen do their best about hair loss but this is something we all try very hard to avoid &#8220;I know a lot of guys in the acting world who use hair fiber sprays to hide any bald spots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">&#8221; Matt is so happy with the results that he started letting his hair grow. &#8220;And it&#8217;s something I never used to do,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"iYB33c\">\n<div class=\"dlJLJe\">\n<div data-cviv=\"true\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwifibiWhuz5AhWqxgIHHZxgCIkQz_AEegQIAxAP\">\n<div class=\"U9URNb\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manchester model Matt Peacock has spoken about losing his hair that made him think he would also lose his career, and about putting pressure on people in the spotlight to maintain their looks.
